Bladder Cancer Awareness
Gordon is local man who has been extremely lucky to survive this illness , he feels passionate that not enough is been done to raise awareness on this issue .
He has asked us to supply some information , about the symptoms and what the warning signs are , so this can be picked up on at a very early stage .

Every year in the UK over 18,000 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer , making it the 5th most common canner in Europe .
Did you know that it is the cancer with highest recurrence rate ?
Despite this cancer being so common , expensive to treat , and deadly , just 1 % of all research funding is spent on the disease .
If diagnosed early ten over 80 % of those diagnosed will survive .
What to look for …
BLOOD IN YOUR WEE – No matter how much or how many times .
FREQUENT NEED TO WEE – or sudden urgency
RECURRING U . T . I ’ S – Urinary Infections that don ’ t clear up .
These symptoms could be the sign of something less scary , but its important to get it checked out straight away . Remember , early diagnosis saves lives .
