Fenwick Primary School
Fenwick Primary School and Early Education Centre enjoyed a fun day on Friday 18th June . Hosted by the school and supported by the school parent council , the children took full advantage of the sunny weather to have a successful day ! The children enjoyed a bouncy castle , badge making sessions , balloon modelling , football in the field and special visits from the McDougall ' s and Captain Cone . It was lovely to see the children forgetting about Covid for a day and having some good oldfashioned fun .
Fenwick Primary has also put on some exciting things for the P7 ' s , as unfortunately their usual activities and residential trips had been cancelled . The P7 ' s enjoyed a day out at Craufurdland Treetop Trials and are looking forward to a disco on Wednesday afternoon along with a special Domino ' s delivery for lunch ! The school managed to raise £ 64.80 through a rag bag fund-raiser to go toward school funds . There has also been a grant recently given to the school to develop the STEM room to offer more science activities for the children .
A Summer of Fun with East Ayrshire Leisure !
Keep the kids active this summer at the newly refurbished Rose Reilly Sports Centre with East Ayrshire Leisure ’ s Active Junior and Youth Memberships from Just £ 10 a month .
The Active Junior Membership designed especially for 8 – 11-year-olds allows access to the Synthetic Grass Pitch or Shoot Some Hoops Basketball ( both sessions unsupervised ). For 12-17yr olds there is the Active Youth Memberships allowing members access to Racquet Sports ( Badminton , Table Tennis , Short Tennis ), Swimming , kick-about sessions on our SGP ’ s , basketball court , casual use of the running track , Gyms * and Fitness Classes * (* restrictions apply depending on age , facilities vary per venue , booking required under COVID restrictions ) for just £ 15 a month . Family Sport Fit pods are also available to hire . Book an exclusive area of our sports hall for you and your family to have a go at a variety of sports !
If you have a 7-11yr old who loves performing , East Ayrshire Leisure have the perfect summer opportunity . Join East Ayrshire Youth Theatre for a day recreating your musical theatre , stage , and film favourites from the Greatest showman , Les Miserable , Hairspray , Greece and more . Come along to the Stewarton Area Centre on Monday 26 July , make new friends , share a smile , and have fun . Booking is essential , this is an all-day event from 10am -3pm, its FREE and your lunch is included !
