Meet the man behind Buns & Guns
So , I thought it was time to introduce myself as many of you will not know me and those who do can keep my embarrassing secrets safe .
My name is Garry Dunlop so let us start with what I bring to the gym apart from my tight bottoms that everyone says are tights . They are not tights lol .
I have been an active gym goer for just under thirty years , starting off with community gyms right through to commercial gyms . I have been lucky to be involved with some amazing privately owned gyms , which because of work and travel , meant I could train in what I would say are the very best of facilities . The experience that I have gathered over the years , in my own personal training means , I know and understand what good equipment is and what is not .
This has now helped me with my vision of Buns & Guns in Stewarton , as it grows , I want to make it stand out from the rest . I am an extremely hard-working individual , and I will not stop until Buns & Guns becomes the best gym out there . My motto is “ START SMALL AIM BIG ”.
I have been competitive in various types of martial arts , curling , bowling & bodybuilding . Maybe the latter will come back ...
I feel my vast knowledge of training , nutrition and reality of having a life too , will benefit many of you . We aim to get the best out of this gym and training . I will be taking on a very small number of clients , but that is for another time . The main reason I am here is to help anyone needing advice , or a spot or hey just listen to my endless chat . But in all seriousness ,
I am here for everyone and want you to get the very best experience from your own individual training programs .
I really do like a laugh and a joke , also on occasions . I can be caught busting a move when a good tune comes on and yes , it was me who chose the pink décor for the gym before anyone asks .
So , if you are bored or unhappy at your gym , why not pop along for a quick chat . I am more than happy to meet you and show you our equipment , that we have available . We can sort you out with an induction and training plan once I understand your goals and training ability . We also offer advice on diet and coaching , we want to help you with all your fitness needs , from beginner , to seasoned athletes .
