Moscow community group recently pulled together to raise money for the installation of a defibrillator in the hamlet . Spearheaded by local Alexander Caldwell , the hamlet raised money via a hamper raffle just before Christmas organised by Gabriel Ritchie .
A sizeable donation was also received from local business A . A . L . S medical services . St John Scotland provided two free training sessions on Saturday 5th February for any locals to attend . The training consisted of CPR training , then a demonstration and training on how to use the defibrillator . Moscow is excited to have the new defibrillator fitted soon , especially after seeing the one in Galston being used successfully within days of installation . It was great to see the money raised so quickly and a large turnout at the training sessions , which the hamlet is thankful for St John Scotland volunteers for providing .
