Our Pride

s a school, we have pride in
our colors.
We collectively show off
who we are and where we belong
by wearing these colors on jackets
adorned with accomplishments.
We are a school of triumphs; we
have banners covering the gyms
walls, crowded trophy cases, and
students wearing letter jackets covered in bars and patches.
Not every student has a jacket
to strut in down the halls, yet this
doesn’t mean they have not earned
the right to display their skills.
There are many different reasons
to why some have not gotten a letterman’s jacket.
“There’s not really a point,”
shared junior Dillon Dorsey.
He sees a letter jacket as something, “A sporty jerk, popular, or
show off would wear.”
