Mum to cycle 400km across Cuba
A local lady Sharon Kearney and her lovely family
are pulling out all the stops to raise £3000 pounds
plus for the British Heart foundation. A charity
close to her as her own grandpa died of a heart
related condition years ago.
The British Heart Foundation is the largest
independent funder of cardiovascular research.
Coronary heart disease is the UK’S biggest
killer but we are leading the fight against it. Our
pioneering research has helped transform the lives
of people living with heart disease and circulatory
conditions. So by supporting this brave lady you
are joining the fight to keep every heart beating.
Stewarton mum of two boys Aiden and
Cillian has made the very courageous decision
to cycle 400km (mind you her words were it
was more of mid-life crisis) across Cuba and to
raise awareness and funds for the British Heart
Foundation. This cycle will take place from the
8-16th of October 2015. She will have to cycle
75km- 85km a day. So she has 7-8mths to get
Stewarton involved in helping her to reach her
target of £3000.
She has already managed to raise £1800 already
from donations and numerous charity events.
She would like to take this opportunity to thank

who have helped and supported her this far. She
couldn’t do it without you. So Sharon and her

night on the 7th March at the Centre Standalane.
Tickets £5 for breakfast roll, drink or cocktail
on arrival, race night and live band Solid State,
all just for £5 till the wee small hours. Tickets
