We ' re in the mood for dancing again !
What a delight it is to be back to full time face to face highland dancing classes . Dancers from the local area , together with others from further afield are meeting twice a week at the Stewarton Youth Community Centre . We have been able to recommence our classes whilst maintaining all necessary safety measures like social distancing , as we have ample room to dance , and lots of ventilation . Everyone feels safe , and back doing what we all love . have recently re-opened . Several medals have been won , and her success is encouraging other members of the class to strive to reach for the required level of expertise to compete .
Its been fantastic to see dancers not only become more adept at the intricate steps , but also build their friendship with other dancers . What is really pleasing is that we have been able to welcome six new pupils over the past six months , so the friendship opportunities are growing .

We have also held several Days of Dance , honing the dancing steps in preparation for Dancing Exams at the beginning of November . This will be the first exams for over 20 Months , all dancers keen to put their best foot forward . One of our pupil Georgia Neil , has also been taking part in Competitions that
