Did you know that down a hidden Lane on Stewarton ' s Main Street , Stewarton has its own Candle making Company ? If you have not been lucky enough to have stumbled upon this little gem yet , you should pop in find one of Stewarton ' s little secret shops .
Sophie Henry Candle Co . is the culmination of the hard work of two local sisters , Lisa and Lynsey . Starting the business off as just a hobby and attending local craft fairs , to having a bricks and mortar shop all thanks to Covid-19 putting a stop to all events in the local craft calendar . Sitting in the Lane on Main Street , previously known locally as Buck ' s Head Close the shop is a Candle lover ’ s dream . They are proud that all the products from wax melts , room diffusers to the stunning candles are all handmade on the premises . They have even created a range dedicated to the history of the Lane and its connection to Robert Burns .
Having only been open since March this year the shop has already proven a hit with those who have discovered it and come back time and time again . Lisa and Lynsey are constantly looking at ways to grow the business and have added a more fun range of products with the RAAM range and also launched Beard Care products in October , again all hand made on the premises .
