Dunlop Primary & ECC a welcome return
It has been wonderful to be able to welcome back all of the pupils
and staff of Dunlop Primary and ECC . There remain many restrictions in place and there is much for us to continue to review and consider , but being able to reconnect with the children and for the children to reconnect with the school , teachers and friends has been a hugely positive experience .
Our school wouldn ’ t run without the input from all staff on the Dunlop team . Their support , commitment , skill and expertise make Dunlop Primary and ECC the great school that it is and since our return , everyone has embraced Outdoor Learning . The ECC engages in weekly Mini Forest School sessions and Village Learning Walks . P1-P7 have taken their P . E . outdoors too and even Mrs Wilson , Head Teacher , comes dressed for taking P . E . with the P6 and P7 pupils . Our much developed infant Active Literacy programme is also a combination of outdoors / indoors and the children have been enjoying using natural resources to support learning Phonics . In Maths , the concepts of Length , Area , Angles and 2D and 3D shapes have all been developed using the outdoors .
Although there are many restrictions in place , we are still ensuring the children of Dunlop Primary and ECC are enjoying being back at school and moving forwards with their learning .

Beez Neez Drycleaners has been trading in Stewarton for over 30 years and is now under new ownership . Offering all your laundry needs undertaken by qualified staff , be it drycleaning , washing , ironing or alterations .
We also offer a collect and drop off service for customers that are still shielding from COVID-19 . Neilson Newagents in Dunlop is also a drop off point if you can ’ t make it into Stewarton , collection is every Wednesday .
