Stewarton United Ladies back into training after lockdown
LADIES
Stewarton United Ladies have been busy during lockdown and have
now returned to training . The team took part in a round the world passing video for fun during lockdown you can view this on their Facebook page ( STEWARTON UNITED LADIES ) and also created a challenge to raise money for the NHS , 5 keepy up ’ s , nominate 5 people and donate £ 5 the team raised £ 130 by doing this . Well done to our ladies who took part in both challenges and thank you to all who donated .
We have now returned to training following COVID guidelines noncontact for the first few weeks and now we can take part in small sided games again . It ’ s been great to get everyone back to training and get some structure back to our lives following lockdown . We thank our ladies for their patience while we got guidelines in place to ensure their safety .
We have scheduled friendlies coming up against Clarke Drive on 4th October and Ayr United on the 11th October just in time for the season resuming in October .
We are currently looking for a goalkeeper and will offer regular goalkeeping training . If you are interested in training to be a goalkeeper please contact our Facebook page .
