Sporting Accidents Accidents are common occurrences, even within the sporting world. A person can be injured whilst physically taking part in a sporting activity or whilst merely spectating. There are a huge number of sports clubs throughout the United Kingdom and in particular within Schools and Universities who often have many separate teams playing sport each week. With schools and universities beginning their academic year once again, it is important to remember that it is widely acknowledged that sports men and women accept that taking part in sport carries with it a certain level of risk. Whether you are playing rugby, football, golf, or hockey or any other sport, there is always some risk for the participants. In addition, there are also rules and laws within sports which must be obeyed by all participants. The facilities in use must also be in good and safe condition.
