The Fort Defiance Pivot Riders was established in 1990 by my brother Delbert L. Benally Sr., myself and our families. 16 july Volume 1 Issue 007 Over the years the Fort Defiance Pivot Riders services expanded, they began offering training to people of all ages who wanted to join rodeo. There was youth out there that wanted to learn the techniques of riding properly, they wanted to know the equipment names, their purpose, and gain the proper riding skills. They wanted to become a part of the Rodeo so there was quite a few that went through the organization to become a part of Rodeo today and currently they are still competing.
