When you book a 49 Laughs Comedy show, you can bet you’ll have them back again for more. 4 february 2014 issue 002 Ernie Tsoie is an Award-winning actor and comedian of movies such as “Thief of Time”, “Turquoise Rose”, “Mile Post 398”, “James & Ernie Comedy” has been a professional Native American performer and presenter since 1996, when he appeared in his first professional acting job for the Actors Theater of Phoenix in a world premiere play titled “Katsina”. Since then Ernie has gone on to work as a professional performer in films, television, theatre, radio, and standup comedy. Ernie is co-founder and owner of the popular and award-winning “James & Ernie Comedy” duo as well as the super duper Native American comedy showcase “49 Laughs Comedy”. He is also an original member of “Native Comedy All Stars” an all Native American stand-up comedy showcase featuring 49 Laughs Comedy and the Showtime featured Pow- Wow Comedy Jam guys. Ernie is proud to be a sober and drug-free Native American entertainer and motivational speaker. He represents the Oglala Lakota, Omaha and Navajo Nations from Chinle, Arizona. Tatanka was recently voted BEST COMEDIAN of 2013 by Albuquerque The Magazine in their Best of The City issue. He has been performing stand-up comedy internationally throughout the U.S. and Canada. You can catch him touring with the HILARIOUS Native American Comedy group, 49 Laughs Comedy. Aside from comedy Tatanka is an award-winning actor. His most recent movie credits include feature films: “The Host”, “A Million Ways to Die in The West” with Director Seth Macfarlane, and in his role as “Wolf” in, Tiger Eyes, based upon the acclaimed novel by best-selling author, Judy Blume. Reviews from Rolling Stone Magazine called Tatanka the “Game Changer.” His performance for this breakout role won Means “Best Actor” awards at multiple film festivals. Tatanka can also be seen this year guest starring in the upcoming new second season of Banshee on Cinemax, NBC’s The Night Shift and ABC’s new drama, Killer Women by Executive Producer Sofia Vegara. Means has also developed and launched his own screen printing company, Tatanka Clothing. Apparel designed and created to uplift and inspire cultural awareness.
