What are a couple of things you have most enjoyed about becoming a mother to Noah ?
I love watching Noah learn new things daily , and seeing the smile on his face when we get him out of his crib in the morning is the best thing ever . While some days are hard , the fulfillment you feel as a mother is incredible . So thankful for this wonderful blessing from God of getting to be a mama .
What have been some of your greatest challenges as a new mother , and has traveling made the adjustment to motherhood more complicated ?
I am learning that everything takes about ten times longer to get done with a baby ! Ha ! Noah and I are just now starting to travel with Phillip more regularly , and while it can be a little more challenging to travel with a baby , it also has its perks . Being on the bus with lots of family means having a lot of babysitters . Haha !
Do you have a couple of books or other resources that you would recommend to other young mothers ? How have these resources been helpful to you ?
These days I don ’ t have as much time to sit down and read many books , but when I became a mom , a friend of mine recommended a podcast called Risen Motherhood . The hosts are two mothers sharing and encouraging other moms along the journey and being a reminder of God ’ s greatest purpose for us as moms : to share Jesus with our children . I love how there are such great practical everyday tips and how it ’ s so rooted in Scripture .
When you have a babysitter , what are some activities you enjoy ?
I love running , decorating , cooking , and spending time with Phillip . ■
