of significant accomplishments. He is helping us build the systems necessary to consistently start successful schools and renew existing schools.   In 2015, we are building out the models as Ron is person- ally working on a daily basis to revitalize a school in Virginia. It has been quite a change to come from a multi-billion dollar company to a small Christian school, but this experience is helping Ron better understand the needs of a local Christian school. God is really helping in this first revitalization proj- ect. Income and students are already projected to be considerably higher in the fall of 2015 than they were last school year.   We will have both the new school and existing school models completed by the end of 2015. In 2016, we will work with a small number of pilot schools to more fully develop the programs. In 2017, we plan to be ready to work with many schools. Phases of School Revitalization There will be three phases of our revitalization work with schools. First, we will thoroughly evaluate and assess the current status of a school. At the end of this evaluation, we will present a formal assessment to the school leadership team. Once the assessment is presented, the school will determine whether or not they accept the assessment and whether they want to move to phase two. Phase two will consist of a comprehensive strategic plan to address all the areas that need improvement and development. Once phase two is completed we will move the school to the third and final phase, implementation.   At every step in this process, we will provide the expert coaching needed to help carry out the plan. It is our express goal to help schools become vibrant, thriving schools so that more children will receive a Christian education.   I have discovered that many leadership teams at Christian schools are resistant to outside influence and change. We are fully aware that many schools will be afraid to open themselves up to outside scrutiny. However, we also know that many schools really want and need outside direction and help. Many will accept the pain that comes with honest evaluation because they want to fulfill their mission of giving children a Christian worldview education more than they want to stay comfortable or in control.   As we are building out these two models, we realize what a challenging task God has given us. We are not pretending to have all the answers, and we know that this work will take some time to perfect. However, when we are consis- tently starting new schools and revitalizing existing schools, thousands of new children will receive a biblical worldview education and perhaps God will reignite the K-12 Christian education movement in America.  24 – 36 Month Timeline for Christian School Revitalization PHASE 2 PHASE 1 ASSESSMENT Evaluate Key Elements against best practices STRATEGIC PLANNING Develop customized strategic plan to revitalize Christian school PHASE 3 IMPLEMENTATION Address gaps and integrate best practices Ongoing periodic assessment 45
