Welcome Ron Gordon - New Vice President at Renewanation

OD HAS BEEN MOVING IN A DYNAMIC WAY
at Renewanation over the last 12 months. 2014 was
an excellent year as we sharpened our focus and God
brought us a number of very significant new partners.
As we have been helping to start new schools and have
been working with existing schools, we have become very
aware that we needed to back up and take a fresh, new
approach to these efforts. It is our mission to Support,
Promote, and Expand the cause of Christian worldview
education. We are totally sold out to this mission, but we
have not been fully satisfied with the fruit of our labor.
While we have been working very hard, we have decided
that we must work smarter to get the results we hope for.
Over the last several months, we entered into serious
discussions with Ron Gordon about the possibility of him
bringing his strong education and executive experience
to the cause of Renewanation. He shares our passion to
train up the next generation with a Christian worldview.
Ron holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial
and Systems Engineering and an MBA from Virginia
Tech. He has spent the last 22 years in the corporate
world, leading manufacturing organizations, managing
numerous multi-million dollar projects, and building
cross-functional teams. Ron specializes in developing
robust systems, assessing and improving processes, and
strategic planning.
Ron will be leading in many areas at Renewanation,
but his primary goals for this year are developing our new
Christian School Startup and Revitalization Programs.
We believe these two programs alone will result in several
thousand new students receiving a Christian education
in the next five years.
Not only has God given Ron the call to join our team,
but he has also provided the funds to support Ron’s
family financially for the first two years he is with us.
God is accomplishing His work!
Ron is blessed with a wonderful wife of 20 years, Tonya.
They have twin 13-year-old sons, Caleb and Jacob, as well
as a daughter, Gracie, who is nine years old. Tonya, a
trained and passionate educator, currently homeschools
Caleb, Jacob, and Gracie.
In the coming months, you will hear much more about
Ron’s work. We are already working to revitalize our
first school. As we work with this school, we are better
understanding what it will take to revitalize schools all
across America.
