Dear Reader,
Thank you for taking the time to read The Renewanation Review. In
this magazine, you will learn more about our vision to give millions of
students a Christian worldview education. We are confident that if we
reach enough children with the truth of God’s Word, we can renew our
broken American culture.
Over the last couple of months, I have been privileged to speak to many different groups around the country. One of the
groups I most enjoy speaking to are teens. I have discovered that teens will listen and respond if you offer them hope to
ease their fears and let them know you believe in them.
Recently, a young lady approached me at a teen camp and was so excited about what I had been saying. She had even
purchased my book, The Life of Radical Faith, from the bookstore. However, she had a problem. Due to her lack of biblical
worldview, she showed me several passages in Genesis that she was struggling to believe. This was a girl who attended
church regularly, but her non-Christian education had caused her to doubt the truth of God’s Word.
As I see this struggle in teens, I am convinced now more than ever before that we must give biblical worldview education
to millions of children. Just this summer, I have seen many young people pray to be saved. For this, I am deeply grateful
to God. However, it breaks my heart to know that this fall many of them will go back to schools that will work in every
way against their new-found faith in Christ. It is one thing to win the heart but if we fail to win their minds, we will lose
far too many of them to Satan’s deceptive and destructive view of life.
As you read this magazine, I ask you to keep an open mind and heart. Ask yourself what you can do to make sure that
more children are receiving Christian worldview training. Perhaps you could work with a Christian school, homeschool
your kids, or volunteer with a ministry reaching public school students. Maybe you are not able to give of your time, but
you have the means to give resources. No matter how God leads you to get involved, we must all be diligent in doing our
part to give children a biblical worldview.
