Why Schools Need to Offer FLEXIBLE ONLINE LEARNING PROGRAMS It’s an excuse you hear over and over again: “If only I had the time.” If only I had the time I would take that AP history course. If only I had the time between youth group and basketball practice, I could retake that Spanish class I failed. If only. What if you could eliminate the “if only” excuse? Online learning provides Christian school and homeschool students the opportunity to get ahead academically. WHY DOES ONLINE LEARNING WORK? ONLINE LEARNING IS FLEXIBLE: ONLINE LEARNING IS EFFECTIVE: Students can start online classes any week of the year and take courses at their own pace. Online learning can be accomplished anywhere there is a device connected to the internet, such as in a school’s computer lab, at home, in between practices, even on the road with a laptop or tablet. If a student is struggling with a particular unit, online facili- tators can see precisely where they are stuck and provide swift remediation so they can move forward. The end goal is always to see the student achieve and stay on track to complete the course. ONLINE LEARNING IS COST EFFECTIVE: The cost to teach students using online courses is lower than any other method. Through online learning your school can meet unforeseen academic demands without hiring new teachers or dedicating additional space.
