the warning signs
of a heart attack
or stroke.
Fast intervention can save lives. If you or a loved one is experiencing symptoms of heart attack or stroke,
don’t ignore them. Call 911 and go directly to the closest emergency department. Our emergency department,
a certified chest pain and stroke center, is safe and ready to care for you.
Heart attack symptoms include:
• chest pain or pressure
• pain or discomfort in arms, back, neck,
jaw or stomach
• shortness of breath
• nausea or lightheadedness
Signs of stroke include:
• face drooping
• arm weakness or numbness
• slurred speech or difficulty speaking
• sudden confusion
• trouble seeing
