Proceeds will go to two local charities : Domestic Violence of Central Virginia and The Lynchburg Area Veterans Council . The Veterans Council ’ s mission is to “ foster and support the exchange of information and ideas among all veteran organizations in order to provide better service to our local veterans and their families .” We are asking you to partner with us to help raise money for this very worthwhile project that provides services for Lynchburg and all surrounding counties .
At the conclusion of the golf tournament , LAR ’ s Community Outreach Committee will host a picnic , catered by London Downs . Beverages , including beer and wine , will also be provided .
