Carve the Mark is a science fiction novel. It is the fourth novel by Veronica Roth, author of the Divergent trilogy. It was published in January of this year and is the first book in a duology. The story follows two young people from opposing cultures whose fates are intertwined. Carve the Mark has so far received a four star review rating on Goodreads. com. I would recommended this book to anyone who enjoys reading Harry Potter books.
Red Queen is another young adult book written by firsttime author Victoria Aveyard. This book won the 2015 Goodreads Choice Award for Debut Goodreads Author and was nominated for the 2015 Goodreads Choice Award for Young Adult Fantasy & Science Fiction. It has high ratings on many sites and is growing increasingly popular among teens looking for a great novel to lose themselves in. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves the fantasy genre.
Lorien Legacies is a series of young adult science fiction books, written by James Frey, Jobie Hughes, and formerly, Greg Boose who share the pen name Pittacus Lore. I Am Number Four is the first book of the series. This book has an exceptional four star rating on Goodreads. com. If you like books about characters with super powers, or involve aliens, beasts, and villains, with a side of romance this is the series for you. There is also a movie based off of the first book starring Alex Pettyfer.
