It takes an average of three to five months to sell a home. Some properties sell within days of hitting the
market, but there are plenty more that take longer. How fast your home sells will depend on five key factors:

The single most important factor to consider is the price tag: how
much your home is worth. You don’t want to overprice the house
because you will lose the freshness of the home’s appeal after the
first two to three weeks on the market. After 21 days, demand
and interest wane. If you do not have an offer after 8–10
showings or 30 days, the market has rejected your price.
Remember, overpricing can delay or even prevent a successful
