In adherence of Gov. Kemp’s Executive
Orders and directives, we are doing all we
can to prioritize public safety and public
health.
We continue to use our technological platform to
ensure community supervision and reentry services
are provided in a manner that protects our
communities and provides for the safety of our
employees. Officers and other employees are
using video and phone interactions to remain in
contact with individuals under supervision.
DCS has also been actively involved
with emergency response efforts.
Several of our hardworking officers are
providing important security details at
testing stations and emergency
management centers where protective
equipment is being facilitated throughout
the state.
Additionally, we have helped create
efficiencies by partnering with DHS to
ensure their employees have the necessary
equipment and accessibility for teleworking.
