Congratulations to the graduates of the March 2020 Defensive Tactics Instructor
(DTI) Training Course! The Defensive Tactics Instructor Training Course is an 80-
hour course designed to provide officers the instructional techniques required to
teach control and restraint techniques, handgun retention and disarming skills,
handcuffing and searching, active countermeasures, OC deployment, Expandable
Metal Baton, and other self-defense techniques. Their expertise and training
delivery will help keep our officers safe should the need arise.
