Clayton County Resource Fair
The Clayton County office hosted its first Resource Fair in August. The event brought in employers from various local organizations to conduct on site interviews; they were able to successfully hire 16 individuals. This event is so positive and is such a thoughtful example of collaboration within our communities.
Albany Special Populations
Resource Fair
DCS had the pleasure of participating in an Albany Technical College Special Populations Resource Fair. This event was an opportunity to interact with students and the local community on the important resources that our department has to offer.
Supporting Sickle Cell Disease Awareness
September is National Sickle Cell Awareness Month, and our Houston Circuit employees showed their support by wearing burgundy in honor of a DCS staff member who suffers from Sickle Cell Disease. Despite her challenges, this person always maintains a positive attitude and commitment to DCS.
