MPOU Provider Trainings
The DCS Misdemeanor Probation Oversight Unit (MPOU) continues to bring fidelity and effectiveness to the oversight of Georgia's misdemeanor probation system by offering regular provider trainings. Throughout this quarter, MPOU hosted 6 well-attended provider trainings!
Anti Human Trafficking Workshop
In August, the Agnes Scott Anti Human Trafficking Initiative and the Kathryn W. Davis Foundation hosted a workshop at Valdosta State University. Members of the Valdosta DCS Office were able to attend the workshop and gain insight on how to eradicate human trafficking in Georgia.
Gainesville Rally for recovery
The Gainesville Office collaborated with local treatment providers, organizations and vendors to co-host a rally on Saturday in honor of National Recovery Month. This event was a great and exciting way to celebrate recovery and provide opportunities for successful outcomes.
