Recruitment Events : Georgia Southern Event
The Ogeechee Circuit and the Eastern Circuit came together and partnered with Eloise Pitt , Internship Coordinator for the Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology , College of Behavioral and Social Sciences , Georgia Southern University . Together they had a very successful recruitment event with a lot of student interest .
NATIONAL NIGHT OUT
Clayton State Fair
The Clayton Judicial Circuit recently participated in a job fair at Clayton State University . They had the opportunity to interact with over 200 students while sharing information about the numerous internship opportunities within DCS .
Columbus State Fair
The Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit participated in a career fair held by Columbus State University . The fair was open to all students and was a great opportunity to provide info on agency operations as well as highlight current job openings and our
# TeamDCS internship program .
Job Shadow Day
The Cobb office , in partnership with
Kennesaw State University , hosted a Job Shadow Day where students were able to speak with a CSO officer and gain insight on the role that
# TeamDCS plays in serving Georgia ’ s communities .
NNO is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer , more caring places to live .
" Dress for Success "
The Douglasville Office hosted a " Dress for Success " event and a Resource Fair . The event allowed serval community organizations to provide helpful information to the individuals under our supervision that will unlock opportunities for successful outcomes .
