Mr S Leather—Neoprene Puppy Hood To start off with, I need to say that this may be the best puppy play related product I have ever bought. I don’t normally associate my headspace with gear—the equipment is purely an afterthought, mere decoration. But the second I unboxed this hood and tried it on, I have had to fight against my inner pup for control, and that has been the same every single second I’ve worn this hood. Construction: The build of this hood is near flawless. The inside liner offers great protection and absorbs sweat nicely (A uncomfortable reality I’m sure all pups deal with). The seams are well made and strong, but not unsightly. The muzzle sits perfectly in terms of height and length, allowing the wearer to lick, bite and gnaw at whatever he or she pleases. Naturally being neoprene, the hood is waterproof and seems to do a great job at repelling water, so don’t be afraid to take a drink with this hood on, or even jump in the pool! The hood comes in a choice of sizes and colours so there will be something to suit every pup In terms of getting the hood on, unlike it’s leather and rubber counterparts, there are no zips to mess on with, and no laces to be done up. This hood can be put on by the puppy himself and taken off again with ease in mere seconds. It’s not a lockable hood which might detract for some people, but I see it as no issue In use I’ve worn this hood as often as I can, and not just when I’ve been in puppy mode. This item appeals to me a lot. It’s so amazingly comfortable that you really don’t want to take it off. Plus, it definitely fit’s a pups role if he or she is a little more alpha—the hood has a definite badass look to it, especially with its posable ears.
