The Puppy Insider Issue 1 - June 2016 | Page 7

What is your one wish for the future of the UK pup play community? I would like for the puppy scene to become more normalised amongst society - there are a lot of forms of escapism out there and becoming a puppy works much better for some than say meditation or exercise. Do you attend many national events or travel to see many puppies? Pup Pow, interviewed by Pup Sparks May 2016 I go to events every so often, it mostly depends on timing and place. I generally attend events up north more than south as London is harder for me to reach. I travel more to visit pups or packs individually when possible, either to catch up or have a great night out together. What made you decide to start The Sheffield Kinky Dawg Meets rather than just go elsewhere? The pup scene was still budding back when I started the event in Sheffield. It had been on the backburner for a while due to personal priorities but once I got it going it allowed pups in the area who couldn't travel away to other events either due to time or money. The only other event I knew of at the time of planning was Collared in London, so we didn't have much up here. Find Pow on facebook by searching for The Sheffield Kinky Dawg Meets
