Gladiators slay bravehearts

ipsum dolor

The New Jersey Barvehearts came in to the season after a very successfull preseason beating the LI Pittbulls. We expected to see them beat the Gladiators until their red uniforms turned blue but this was not the case.

The game started and it seemed as The Bravehearts set the tone of this game with a time consuming opening drive, but came away with no points. The game was starting out as most predicted, but Garden State changed the tide with an interception reutrn for a touchdown. For the majority of the game it was really a defensive batle between both teams until the Bravehearts scored late in the game putting them up 8-6. The Gladiadors quickly answered that score with a TD of their own to take a 12-8 lead. The Bravehearts had one last attempt to come away with the game but threw an interception late in the 4th quarter to seal their fate.

Bravehearts VS Brass City

The Bravehearts played their home opener against the Brass City Kings on a rainy Saturday night in Week 2. The Braveheart defense came to play, holding the Kings' offense to just 6 points, which came on the Kings' first offensive play of the game (22yard TD pass, Gondek to Heath). After an early injury to their starting QB, the Bravehearts offense stalled most of the night in the 6-0 loss. Former MLF MVP Darnell Rose made his Bravehearts season debut and return to MLF Rose may be the key to the Bravehearts' recovery, A threat at WR but even more effective at QB. What will the Bravehearts do with Rose within the offense?

The 2016 Season kicked off and the season kicked off with an upset or was it the new order of things. The bows and spears weren't enough for the armor and swords.

Do not count out the Bravehearts just yet. A slow start to the season but they have the pieces to make a mid-season run. Watch for QB/WR Darnell Rose to improve offensive production and compliment a stout Braveheart Defense.
