A Labor of Love—Volunteers Make
Valentine’s Day Special!
Thanks to the hard work of Providence volunteers, Valentine’s
Day was a breeze for those wanting beautiful flowers and fresh
baked goodies to take home for that special someone. “Our floral
team worked 10-hour days arranging beautiful roses and spring
arrangements for our lobby sale,” said Patty Hawk, volunteer director.
“We sold over $5,000
worth of flowers during
the week of Valentine’s!”
It was a busy Valentine’s Day for Linda Davenport,
Neva Amyett and Ed Sieja.
Volunteers also held a
Valentine’s Day bake sale,
offering beautiful cakes,
cookies, cupcakes and
pies with a holiday theme.
