Jocelyn West, Clinic Operations, and her husband Ron West, graduated on December 14 from Tarleton
State University.
Cheryl Evridge, Respiratory Care, challenged her boards and is now a RRT.
Lera Vandine, Respiratory Care, passed her boards and is now a RRT.
Cardiology welcomes newest EKG tech, Larry Tunmire, graduate of MCC’s EKG technology course 3.
Cardiology welcomes newest echocardiographer, Lauren Ballard, RCS, graduate of Hill College’s
echocardiography program.
Pharmacist Jennifer Salisbury passed the 2013 BPS Pharmacotherapy Exam and is now a Board Certified
Pharmacotherapy Specialist. “BPS certification is a voluntary process by which a pharmacist’s education,
experience, knowledge and skills in a particular practice area are confirmed as well beyond what is required
for licensure. By definition, the BPS-certified pharmacist brings an extra measure of quality with demonstrated
initiative and commitment to professional excellence.”
David Dulski, 3 North, was initiated to the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the oldest and most selective
collegiate honor society of all disciplines. Dulski is pursuing his BSN and this places him in the top 7.5 percent
of his class.
Tara Mulcahy, Radiology Tech, was named radiology employee of the quarter this quarter.
Peggy Pustejovsky, Director of Radiology, graduated with her Master’s degree in Business from Tarleton State
University in December.
Anita Green, Providence DePaul Center, is now the Patient Care Manager at DePaul.
Kathleen Picco, Women and Newborns Center, passed her RN boards.
LaToya Benitez, Women and Newborns Center, passed her CST certification.
Maria Samaniego, Roslyn Mitchell, Ashley Carter and Morgan Estes, all of the Women and Newborns
Center, passed the RNC-OB exam.
Morgan Estes, Women and Newborns Center, passed the electronic fetal monitoring certification exam.
The Women and Newborns Center welcomes Carina Nava, unit clerk, Katrina Reyonoso CST, Debra Noyola RN,
Terri Fuessel RN and Kaitlin Brown, PCT III.
Congratulations to Valerie McCullough, Elizabeth Vladut and Melissa Ripley for passing their
gastroenterology certification exam. They are the only certified gastro nurses in Waco.
Marisa Joy Gingerich graduated with honors from MCC with an Associate’s degree in nursing.
Congratulations to Caitlin Young and Ashley Nix, both of Outpatient Surgery, who are recent MCC ADN graduates.

their first grandchild on December 4. Jax Benjamin Grisham weighed 9 lbs. 6 oz. Proud parents are Beja and
Jarred Grisham.
Six-year-old Emma Haferkamp, granddaughter of Judy McGee, Admitting, won 1st place with a song she
composed and played on the piano for the PTA Reflection at her school.
