When hearing the word Easter Bunny, you automatically look toward the Christian faith. When, in fact there is not a single scripture or refrence to a rabbit or eggs made anywhere in the Bible. In fact, the "bunny" in question is really of the pagan faith and entwines itself with the Festival of Eostre. Eostre is the Goddess of fertility. She is depicted as having the spirit of a rabbit. Rabbits are known for being fast and energetic breeders. This is why the symbol of fertility is a rabbit. Which in the Spring time there is a "rebirth" of a lot of things.
