You do not have to be a trail runner or a mountain biking expert to enjoy the great outdoors . South Africa boasts some of the world ’ s most exquisite hiking trails , urban parks , national parks and outdoor adventure venues ; so why not make a day of it and get the whole family moving ?
For some , camping is the ideal option for a weekend away , while others prefer a picnic in the botanical gardens . How you choose to commune with nature is up to you . It does not cost the earth and allows you to unplug from the modern world . And if you really do not want to venture out , pitch a tent in your own garden for a night under the stars while you wait for the Easter Bunny .
