Make your lunch count

Food does not only fill your stomach ; it also fuels each cell in your body to function optimally . All food contains a vast variety of macro-nutrients ( such as carbohydrates , proteins and fats ) and micro-nutrients ( such as vitamins , minerals , superfoods and many other beneficial supplements ). Your body needs them collectively , and in different quantities .
This is why it is so important to have a wholesome and varied diet . You cannot eat only bread and steak , and expect to feel full of energy and focus ; similarly , you cannot only eat kale and turmeric and expect to feel great . Variation is key and eating the colours of the rainbow is a great rule to follow .
