Sinochumo Manona is a secondyear student enrolled at the University of KwaZulu-Natal . She is studying for a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy . She is very relieved to have been awarded the bursary , as this will lift a huge weight off her parents ’ shoulders .
She finds PPS ’ s ethos of mutuality most inspiring . She also enjoyed learning about the Forgotten Graduates , who are highlighted in PPS ’ s “ Finding the Forgotten Graduate ” campaign . “ This company builds its community as it grows . I am looking forward to joining the network of professionals making a positive contribution to our country .”
One of Sinochumo ’ s goals is to make her field of study better known within her community in the Eastern Cape . “ Many people asked me if I would be able to get a job studying physiotherapy , so I think that people would benefit from learning about health sciences .” Sinochumo also dreams of starting her own scholarship fund .
