Coconut ice cream
Ingredients :
• 3 cups milk
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• Half a cup coconut milk
• 2 tablespoons coconut milk powder
• 3 quarters of a cup of desiccated coconut
• 1 tin condensed milk
• 1 tin Nestlè dessert cream
• Food colourant ( optional )
Method
Mix the milk , evaporated milk , coconut milk , coconut milk powder and desiccated coconut together in a pot . Cook on a low heat and keep stirring for approximately 20 minutes . Remove from heat . Beat in the condensed milk and Nestlè dessert cream into the warm mixture . Use food colourant of your choice ( if using ) to colour the ice cream . Cool completely in the fridge . Once cooled , churn in an ice cream machine . Top with fresh grated coconut and serve .
