Homemade red iced tea
If you struggle to drink enough water throughout the day , then here is a solution . Making your daily hydration fun and tasty can help you keep your fluid intake high and your body functioning optimally .
Instructions 1 . Boil your full kettle . 2 . Place the teabags into a large heat resistant jug .
Ingredients :
• A full kettle of water
• 3 rooibos teabags
• Honey or sweetener of choice , to taste
• 2 handfuls of ice cubes Flavour infusion options : Spicy Stone-fruit
3 . Pour in your hot water ( leaving some space in your jug to still pop in your infusions and ice ).
4 . Allow the tea to infuse while it cools down . Give it a stir occasionally .
5 . After about 20-30 minutes , add your infusions and stir . Sweeten to taste .
6 . Add your ice cubes and allow it to cool your iced tea down to a refreshing iciness .
7 . Pour into glasses and enjoy in the warm summer sun !
• 1 peach / nectarine / apricot , sliced
• 3-4 ginger slices Fresh apple and mint
• 1 green apple , sliced
• 2 mint sprigs , rinsed
• Half of a lime , sliced Berry , lemon and basil
• Half of a lemon , sliced
• 6 basil leaves , rinsed
• A handful of blueberries , halved
