While treating us to their splendour , we tend to forget that every butterfly symbolises renewal . We rarely acknowledge the changes it has undergone to achieve such poise and beauty .
Their path to your garden was preceded by a process called metamorphosis , as our natural science teacher once explained . This is a Greek word that means “ transformation ”.
