atmday is the day for OuI Lady. Today being the memorial of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. it was no
. urprise that today' theme was "Communion in the Word through 1vlary ~
It was also no urpri e that it was another rainy day in Dublin. All through the ung Mas it rained, on and off
This did not deter the crowds, who flocked to the Coagr site for Day even of the IEC.
In the Youth pace today the speaker wa Bishop Frank ] Caggiano, (right)
Auxiliary Ri hop of Rrooklyn. Ri hop aggiano i no novice when it onies to
speaking with young people. He spoke simply and dire tly. He used per onal
example and related thi to ripture and the life of the ,hur ·h.
At the heart of hi me sage was "Jesus''. He spok of vo ation - not ju t to the
priesthood - but all vocation.

witnesses of the Lord Jesus. For it seems to me that mru1y people, especially young people, are sear hing in the

o what does the Lord wish from you ;:rnd me right here and now? Blessed John Paul II said it best: "Open
wide the door to Chrisr·: Lhe door of your heart and mind. Allow the ¥lord of God to touch, tmnsform and
lead us forward in faith. There is nothing to fear, for armed with the Word of God, we will bring the whole world
to Je us one person at a time! '
