Letters to the Editor
From Mr Charles Wilson
Dear Sir,
How wonderful that an Ordinariate is to be set
up in the U.S.A. One wonders how many other
Ordinariates there will be around the world.
Australia, I expect, but will there be one in
Scandinavia?
One remembers your interview with the Vatican
Official at the CDF, who was enthusiastic about a
Ordinariate for the Lutherans.
We wait in hope and expectation.
Yours faithfully
Charles Wilson

From Mr James Dickie
Dear Sir,
I read with interest the article in last month’s T he
P ortal about the Forward in Faith Assembly.
For a magazine of the Ordinariate to interest
itself in the politics of Forward in Faith is in
itself interesting. Is this an example of “Anglican
Patrimony”?
Yours truly

From Mrs Phyllis Page
Dear Sir,
Where is Will Burton? Month after month, he wrote
in T he P ortal . We in this village were always keen to
read him, as he is local to us. Then he disappears, no
explanation, nothing. Is he alright? Has he gone on
holiday? Please tell us.
Yours faithfully
Phyllis Page (Mrs)
Welney, Cambs
Mrs Page, Will Burton is perfectly ok. He
has just not written for a while. You will be
pleased to see that he is back this month. Ed.
From Mr Bill Burson
Dear Sir,
What a joy T he P ortal is! Every month it brings joy
to our house. Yet you also deal with matters grave.
My wife and I were interested in the article by Dr
Chris Davies about abortion. The subject has had a
great amount of coverage in the media recently, most
of this prejudicial to the Catholic cause.
We found it refreshing to read the subject
approached with such care and sensitivity.
Congratulations to Dr Davies and congratulations to
you for running the article.
Yours
Bill Burson
