14 Community News SHORT TAKES Clean Water Music Fest returns to PV Concert Hall The fourth annual Clean Water Music Fest will be hosted at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall on Sept. 26 by Flagshift Romance, a nationally touring alternative folk duo based in Jacksonville Beach. All proceeds from the festival go directly to the charity:water organization, Since 2012, the CWMF has Ponte Vedra Recorder ·September 24, 2015 raised over $90,000 and all funds have gone to provide safe, clean drinking water for communities in Ethiopia, Rwanda, Mali and Niger. The event runs from noon-10 p.m. and will include local, regional and national talent on two stages, outdoor activities, a vendors market, food trucks and a silent auction. Children’s Behavioral Health Summit The St. Johns County Behavioral Consortium is hosting the Children’s Behavioral Health Summit from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 23 at the St. Johns County Administration Building, 500 San Sebastian View. Participants, with the help of keynote speaker Pam Petersen-Baston MPA, CAP, CAPP, and local stakeholders, will spend the day discussing behavioral health issues facing our community’s youth, learning about nationally recognized best practices, and formulating positive strategies to better serve the youth of St. Johns County through breakout sessions and group strategic planning. The Summit is free, includes lunch, and is open to the public. Attendees can also obtain four Continuing Education Credits from LSF Health Systems. Reservations are required.
