Community News 13 Ponte Vedra Recorder · September 17, 2015 Community briefs Continued from 9 New York Times bestselling author Charles Martin at PV Library New York Times bestselling author, Charles Martin, will visit the Ponte Vedra library Monday, Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss his latest book, “Water from My Heart.” Martin, who resides in Jacksonville with his wife, Christy, and their three sons, is the author of 11 books, but describes his latest novel as the most personal of all his books. Martin’s appearance at the library is part of the Ponte Vedra Library’s Book Talk Café program, sponsored by the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Library. Light refreshments will be served, and copies of the author’s books will be available for purchase. The presentation is free and open to the public. Watts Juicery cold-pressed juice bar opening in Jacksonville Beach Jacksonville’s first cold-presses juice bar, Watts Juicery, will be opening to the public Saturday, Sept. 26. “We’re excited to bring the first organic cold-pressed juicer to Jacksonville,” Annie Tuttle, founder of Watts Juicery said in a news release. The juice bar will be serving a variety of fresh, organic, unpasteurized, coldpressed fruit and vegetable juices, elixir shots and cleanse packages. The majority of the organic produce will be sourced locally from farms in Jacksonville and St. Augustine. Juices will be available in two sizes: 16 oz for $9 and an 8 oz kids size for $5. Watts Juicery will be located in Seawalk Village in Jacksonville Beach, directly behind Mellow Mushroom and Salt Life.
