‘Threads of Silver and Gold’
A Classic Theatre presents “Threads of Silver and
Gold: Women of the Panama Canal,” a new play
by Deborah B. Dicky. The play will be performed

Underwood Jewelers presents a three-day John
Hardy Trunk Show to benefit Ayla’s Acres No-Kill
Animal Rescue A cocktail party and raffle with
special guest Loretta Switt of T.V.’s M*A*S*H
will take place Thursday, Oct. 22 from 6-8 p.m.
at Underwood Jewelers Ponte Vedra Location, 330 A1A N., Ponte Vedra Beach. The raffle
prize is a bracelet valued at $3,900 donated by
renowned designer John Hardy. Raffle tickets

Beaches Branch Library book sale
The Friends of the Beaches Branch Library will
hold their semi-annual used book sale in the
Community Room at the library on Oct. 22-24.
Saturday is $10 a bag day. Times for sale days
are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All proceeds go to library
needs, children, teen, and adult programing.
Refreshments and gift basket drawings. The

‘St. George and the Dragon’
“St. George and the Dragon, a new comedic
fantasy written and directed by Jason Woods,

St. Augustine Orchestra’s ‘Saxophonic’
The St. Augustine Orchestra’s fall concert features the premiere performance of “Saxophonic,” on Friday, Oct. 23 at 8 p.m. at The Lightner
Museum, 25 Granada St., St. Augustine. Tickets
are $20 for adults; $5 for students with ID. Children 12 and under are admitted free. Tickets are

Creatures of the Night
The St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park
presents Creatures of the Night Oct. 23, 24 and
30 from 5:30-7 p.m. Kids can enjoy hands-on
activities, collect creepy creature cards around
the park and trick-or-treating. An alligator feeding will take place at 7:15 p.m. The cost for nonmembers is $10 for adults; children ages 2-11
are $8. The cost for members is $9 for adults;

Palm Valley Food Truck Friday Festival
Palm Valley’s Food Truck Friday Festival is Friday,
Oct. 23 from 6-10 p.m. under the Palm Valley
Bridge, 383 S. Roscoe Blvd. The event is hosted
by and benefits The Palm Valley Community
Charities. The festival will feature food trucks,
music, beer and wine, and family entertainment. Lawn chairs are allowed.
