The Recorder
Ponte Vedra and the First Coast
gathered last September on a sunny
day for the 12th annual Ponte Vedra
Auto Show, presented by the St. Johns
County Chamber of Commerce and the
Brumos Companies at TPC Sawgrass.
Presenting sponsor, the Brumos
Automotive, showcased their lineup of
dealerships including Brumos Porsche,
Brumos Motor Cars with Mercedes-Benz
and Sprinter, Brumos Lexus of Jacksonville, Mercedes-Benz of Orange Park
and Brumos Lexus of Orange Park.
“Urban Outlaw” Magnus Walker,
a collector and prized restorer of
Porsche’s iconic 911s, joined the festivities as an honored guest. Brumos
Porsche TV and Walker teamed up
in producing a video where Magnus
talks about the joys of owning, driving,
restoring and creating the “Vic Elfordstyle” sport 1965 model 911. While not
serving as an Auto Show judge, Walker
was on hand for autographs, photos
and passionate Porsche conversation.
Accompanying Walker, Porsche race car
legend, Hurley Haywood was on hand
to engage in lively racing conversation
and autographs.
