BOARDING

DOLMAN

Dolman Boarding House had a great start to the year , with some fantastic students joining us from Hong Kong , Spain , Dubai , and the UK . We began the year in style with the annual whole-boarding community trip to Flamingo Land , and then continued to follow with the Dolman tradition of being busy , busy , busy !
We have challenged ourselves at Let Loose , on swimming trips , and at Botton Camp . This term alone , we have visited the zoo , walked in the Humber Bridge park , and bounced our time away on giant inflatables . We have also had evening football games with Fenwick-Smith House and , I must say , the Dolman boys can hold their own ! The boys have been fantastic – building friendships to last a lifetime and learning how to live as a community .
We have said goodbye to Mrs Briggs , who has been with us for many years , and so Mr Fradgley stepped into our Wednesday evening – bringing enthusiasm , fun , rounders , ping-pong and basketball to name but a few !
Dolman has also had a few cases of COVID , but the boys did not feel ill and were soon out and about again . The year has been a good one , and as I now sit and look back , I know we have had lots of fun and laughter and made happy memories . It has been a brilliant year with super staff and truly amazing boys .
We wish our Fourth Year boys all the best as they move to Fenwick-Smith House next year , and we will miss them all .
