U12A XI

P9 / W6 / D1 / L2
Squad : Olivia Perry ( GK ), Laura Brooks , Eliza Hutchinson , Jemima Councell , Lucy Farnell , Belle Sweeting , Izzy Dimmack , Emily Jones , Emily Marshall .
What a season from the U12s . They have shown commitment and motivation to improve throughout . Already a bunch of talented individuals , the team worked hard to settle into their positions and also learn how to play with new players . Positively supporting others in the team has been a focus throughout .
Scoring over forty goals in ten matches has shown that the squad have not only increased their goal scoring opportunities , but also their finishing power ! In matches where we may have been winning easily , the team were excellent at responding to more challenging rules imposed on them , to make the game more competitive .
Highlights of the season include a wellmatched game against St Olaves in very warm conditions , which not only tested our fitness but introduced the team to a much faster pace of play . A physical game against Barnard Castle also tested our strength when defending and we were rewarded with a 4-1 victory .
Most memorable moment has to be our equalizer against Hymers in the last minute to draw 1-1 . It was one of the best games of the season due to the high intensity of play and determination of our girls .
What a fantastic first season this has been . I am proud of the squad they have become and the maturity with which they have trained and competed . It has been a pleasure moulding and preparing this talented group of players ready for the next chapter , good luck !

A truly awesome season from the girls , not only reflected in the results but also in the way they have played . All girls have brought a fantastic atmosphere and energy to the team , working well together , as well as having fun . As a coach I ’ m extremely proud to see the speed and want to progress , as well as how much they have clearly enjoyed themselves . We have had some excellent clashes and some great wins , due to the passing the ball well and understanding the principles of play ! Well done to everyone , fabulous work !
