A season of development and one in which there were periods of good quality netball played .
In what was a season full of challenges with the weather and Covid-19 the girls were worked admirably to improve across the season and a particular highlight was the performance at Queen Margaret ’ s .
Great resilience was shown throughout the squad and a total of 15 girls represented the A team .

A tough season in terms of challenges faces however the determination to succeed shown by the girls was outstanding . Performances improved throughout the season and opportunities were there for all girls to impress and the numbers at training reflected the new found desire to play .
Eighteen Girls represented the B team this year and every single one showed grit and desire when on the court . Highlights included the game v Queen Mary ’ s and the challenges against Hymers and the girls hard work in training was evident as they played some fast flowing netball against these teams .

What a fantastic season from the U12As , they have shown such improvement and progress since the beginning of the term and this has been evident as our results got better and better . Our shooters , Lydia Cazzalini , Belle Sweeting , Emily Marshall and Clara Stewart have all been very reliable under high pressure situations and have coped well with all of the wind we ’ ve had this year !
Our mid court players , Jemima Councell , Isabelle Dimmack , Emily Jones and Lucy Farnell have worked tirelessly to create space and make things hard for our opposition and our trusty defenders Molly Stones and Niamh Cowen have shown real determination and skill to limit the opposition scoring . It has been a pleasure to work with these girls and I think our highlight of the season was a spectacular display against Hymers in a very close game which we won 12-10 .
I ’ m proud of all of these girls and good luck for next year !

The girls have had a strong set of fixtures this term . All games have shown great determination and hard work from all players . The team have progressed positively this term with skills being refined to allow variety of choice of pass to make decisions with confidence and space being used more effectively to move the ball around the court with agility and speed . Poppy Levitt , Nosica Dunand and Flora Myers have played vital roles in the centre court work showing excellent speed and effective drives toward the ball .
Charlotte Marson and Harriet Hodge have shown dynamic movements in and around the attacking third and performed well when under pressure from opposition ’ s defence when shooting . Laura Brooks , Olivia Perry and Ruby Blackburn have been excellent in putting pressure on oppositions attack and have played a focal point in intercepting balls to move play into an attacking momentum . Well Done Girls !
