U15A VII

The under 15 A team have shown great promise at times during the netball season , however , have failed to find an elusive first win . The whole squad has shown a great deal of improvement .
A narrow loss to Read school ’ s 2nd VII highlighted the potential this team has despite players representing senior squads . A tough day at Hymers highlighted some areas for improvement going forward .
The loss to Hull collegiate was disappointing , some fantastic netball saw Pocklington leading by 3 goals going into the final quarter in some tough conditions , some collegiate pressure saw Pocklington make some errors leading to turnovers that gave collegiate the ball and momentum they eventually managed to steal the win in the dying seconds . The Queen Margaret ’ s tournament saw 2 further solid performances , again Pock came out on the wrong side of the result despite playing some excellent netball and dominating periods of both games .
Sadly , the season was curtailed due to the outbreak of COVID-19 . The squad should be proud of their efforts this season as they look to transition into senior netball next year .

U15B VII

The girls have had a short but productive season and I have been impressed by their determination and competitive spirit during their few fixtures . Their victory against Read School was a great highlight , followed closely by a very narrow loss of 10 goals to 11 against Hymers . Lucy Harrison-Little has led by example in the centre court position and has continued to battle hard for every ball .
Jenny Harrison and Daisy Shepherd have been our hardest workers in training and have earned themselves most improved players of the season .
It has been a shame that so many of our fixtures have been cancelled because this team has great potential ; here ’ s hoping for plenty more progress next year .

U14A VII

P6 / W2 / D0 / L4
A great season for the U14As this year . The girls worked really hard to improve their game strategy and power in their throws throughout the term ; although a little rusty in January when starting the season , this team was a force to be reckoned with by the end of the season .
The girls showed great commitment to weekly training and really took on board advice from their coaches . Miss Clarke and Miss Rees would like to thank all the girls for the commitment and courage shown by them throughout ; they wish the girls the best of luck as they progress to U15s next year .

An amazing season for the U14Bs this year . The team pulled together from an early stage and showed true grit and determination against every opposition . The girls really improved their game strategy throughout the season and in our last few games , they could feel the being of a team and worked well by communicating a lot more on court .
The girls were great in training and really gave of their best every week . Miss Clarke and Miss Rees would like to thank all the girls for their determination and commitment shown throughout the season ; they wish the girls the best of luck as they move up to U15s next year .
