Ellie Harrison-Little (Captain) for her U14 Academy Assessment The U14 Girls Hockey team, representing Pocklington School at the organisation skills and ability to promote team spirit amongst the players. Well done to all the team members on their excellent play throughout the season. Junior Academy Centre Assessment and Selection Day, held at Hull University Sports Ground. selected for the girls U13 squad. At the Assessment Day, the seven-a-side team of Under 14 Girls played against a range of teams and clubs and won all their games. They were the overall winners in the girls’ group. Third Year students, Ellie Broadbent, Emma Mackay, Evie Taggart and Hannah Hornshaw were selected for the U14 Humberside Junior Academy Centre Squad. Pocklington School First Year student, Izzy Rowley, and Second Year Student Phoebe Anderson were 62 and Trinity Wright. Well done Mrs. J Kilsby The students will now undergo further training and competitions at the Academy, before a final team from each age group will be selected to represent Humberside at the Performance Centre in Leeds. Mr Byas, Director of Sport said: “The students have performed extremely well so far this season and we look forward to seeing their development and progression as they move to the next stage of the selection process.”
